NextiaBooking
FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do my clients need an account to book?

No. Anyone can book from your public booking page without creating an account. They give their name, email, phone number and the answers to any questions you add to your booking form.

Is the booking page available in French?

Yes. Clients can switch between English and French on the booking page itself, with dates and times formatted for each language. Booking forms can only be published once every label exists in both languages.

Can I add booking to my own website?

Yes. Share your booking page link, print its QR code, or embed the booking widget on your website.

Does it work with my calendar?

Each staff member can connect Google Calendar or Microsoft 365. Busy times on that calendar block booking slots, and new bookings are added to it.

Can I offer video appointments?

Yes. NextiaBooking can create Google Meet or Microsoft Teams links through a connected calendar, or Zoom links once Zoom is connected for your business. You can also use a fixed online-room link.

Can clients cancel or reschedule?

Clients can cancel from the link in their confirmation email, within the cut-off you set. Rescheduling is done by your team from the console.

Do you send text-message or WhatsApp reminders?

Not at launch. Confirmations and reminders are sent by email, with a calendar invitation attached — unlimited on every plan. When text reminders arrive, paid plans include a monthly allowance of texts, never charged per message.

Can I take deposits or payments when clients book?

Not at launch. NextiaBooking does not collect deposits or payments from clients yet. Deposits are part of the paid plans once they are available.

Can I run group classes?

Yes. Group sessions have a capacity and an optional minimum number of attendees. When a class is full, clients can join a waitlist and receive a time-limited link when a spot opens. Group sessions and waitlists are on the Pro and Business plans.

How much does NextiaBooking cost?

NextiaBooking has a free plan with no time limit — 1 staff member, 1 booking page, 5 services and 50 bookings a month. Paid plans run from $4.99 to $14.99 a month in Canadian dollars, with two months free when you pay yearly, and every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial of Pro, no card required. Booking is also part of NextiaBusiness Suite Pro, with NextiaInvoices and NextiaTax, at $21.99 a month.

Where is my data stored?

Nextia’s databases and file storage are hosted on Microsoft Azure in the Canada Central region. Calendars and meeting providers you connect process data under their own terms.

Do I need a separate account for NextiaInvoices or NextiaTax?

No. One Nextia account, one team and one client list work across all Nextia apps. Each app has its own subscription, or you can take all three in the NextiaBusiness Suite.

Is there a mobile app?

Native iPhone and Android apps are coming soon. Until they reach the app stores, use NextiaBooking on the web.
